Zambia Works is focused on implementing initiatives in the key areas of healthcare, education, water and economic development with a current focus on sustainable agriculture. These areas are crucial that the socio-economic status of the communities we work in is improved.

Some of our initiatives include:

  • Provision of boreholes and installation of hand pumps to improve access to clean water.
  • Building and supporting clinics to increase access to healthcare services for rural communities.
  • Instructing farmers on sustainable Improving access to education opportunities for disadvantaged children by establishing local community schools or improving existing ones.
  • Trainings on sustainable farming practices to improve crop productivity and food security.
  • Teaching farmers on the use of irrigation systems that ensure sustainable crop production and mitigate the effects of water scarcity during droughts and the dry season
  • Trainings on farming as a business and establishment of market linkages
